LiVe what you LoVe and LoVe what you LiVE

Love Mail boxI love all the wonderfully unique things I come across as I ramble around Montana, this mailbox being one of them. We actually did a U turn to go back so I could get a photo. One of the things that impresses me as I meet new people and see so many of the artisan offerings that I am using to create recipes for LiViT. The people who I have come across Live what they Love and Love what they Live.

What do I mean by that?

Well when I was standing in line for 20 minutes for the “best” tomatoes the farmers market had to offer I got to the front of the line and the woman who was selling me the tomatoes had the dirt on her hands from the mornings harvest of bounty for the market. She had a sparkle in her eye and a warmth in her heart as she helped me pick the exact type of tomato I was looking for. She was loving every moment of that transaction and the previous hundreds before me and no doubt the hundreds after me. I asked her how long she had been doing what she loved. She said ” I was born for this “- I instantly related  to this woman that I had never met until she helped me hand pick the delicious bounty from her farm.

In that moment the simplicity of understanding how one must pull the weeds, til the soil, plant the seeds, nurture the garden  lovingly with water, have faith and patience and in Mother Natures perfect timing it comes to fruition. You can pick it, share it, sell it, give it the exposure it rightly deserves because it is perfect in its very own way. We are perfect we just want some fine tuning in some areas. Dreams to grow into.

LiVe what we LoVe- LoVe what we LiVe…which comes first?

I guess that depends on how you look at things. If you can find something that you love and try to make baby steps to making it happen then you are well on your way. If you just jump right in and start living it cause you know you love it then that is fantastic. I have heard it said many times “Some times quickly~ Some times Slowly”. It really depends on us individually, as well this can be applied to many areas of our lives. It is our own personal pace. Its your dream, your life, your body, be loving and compassionate to your self in the process. It won’t happen over night but it will happen if you just do the next right thing.Persistance- anything worth having is worth the wait.

For instance when I think of my lifestyle today, I love my LiViT…there was a time when that was not the case. I know for myself I have to Love something to completely commit to it. I have been asked, “How did that switch happen for you?” Well its a longer process than I can get into here, but the premise is the same as the lady selling me the tomatoes. She loved it, she didn’t feel like she was missing out on anything , she pulled the weeds, planted the seeds, watered and had faith. She was supplying a value added service to the masses at the market that came each week just to line up for her tomatoes. It filled her heart with joy.

So it doesn’t matter what you  choose to be passionate about ~ just find that passion. Look for the area of your life that needs the “weeds pulled” tend to your soil with baby steps in the right direction. Dreams are seeds that your soul is yearning for..Plant em! New body image, new career. You name it the world is your oyster.

I ask you what are you passionate about? What are you willing to LiVe it cause you Love it…and you may have to find what you LoVe before you LiVe it. We all have things that we would like to add a little LoVe to..what is it for you?

Sending you Light and Love
